Working locally to make a global impact
The strength of the ARS of Eastern US lies in the collective efforts of its 31 chapters made up of nearly 1,200 members. All our ARS members share a steadfast belief that communities are the best agents of their own change and are dedicated to making a real difference. Many of our chapters have a century-long history of serving its people, including New York City, which became the first chapter of the Armenian Relief Society, worldwide.
ARS members proudly work on a volunteer basis throughout the year to help all community organizations reach their endeavors. ARS members set up blood drives, operate Armenian schools, raise funds for regional and international ARS projects to benefit the Armenian Diaspora and Armenia and Artsakh, contribute to worthy non-Armenian organizations in their locale, donate scholarships to deserving students, and much more.
The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude to our Chapters for their devotion, time, support, and funding. It is through their hard work and a dedicated membership that we have been able to continue to serve the needs of the Armenian people in the Eastern US, Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhk, many of our diasporan communities and around the world.
